STREET OF DREAMS
Street of Dreams is dedicated to providing educational, emotional, and creative support for at-risk teens. Using a simple “Word Art” method, the creative process is used as a healing mechanism. This process is essential to the healthy development of the teens who have been isolated from normal social interaction. I began collaborating with Street of Dreams several years ago, providing them with graphics and messaging to clearly convey their mission, values, and voice, which strengthens financial support and community engagement, and best of all, lifts the girls’ spirit.

Successful Solutions & Outcomes
Each class gets a photo session featuring individual portraits of the girls and one class photo by photographer Jeff Wiant. Jeff skillfully captures the girls in genuine moments, revealing their true selves. The school hallways are adorned with portrait art that highlights their stunning images and poetry, reinforcing that this is a space where they can express their authenticity and creativity.

Not only is the program beneficial to the girl’s development, they receive high school credit, graduate high school and many go on to college. Part of that requirement is a Spoken Word concert, which enhances their voice, significantly boosts their confidence, and fosters community awareness and support. Graphics are created to support the event.

With strategic branding and an intuitive online donation platform, we typically see a 50% increase in grant contracts and a 100% growth in donations each year.

The strategy features visually appealing, high-contrast photography along with a classic logo that can be utilized in a single color across multiple platforms such as packaging, print, social media, and websites. A responsive online store and reporting system specifically designed for their meal delivery operations was created. Consequently, weekly orders increased by over 200%, while administrative hours decreased by more than 80%. This streamlined delivery process not only enhanced efficiency but also helped retain a customer base of hundreds each week.
