ABOUT > LISA McGEHEE
I have fifteen years of professional experience in interactive and print design. I graduated from San Diego State University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts, emphasis in Graphic Design, with distinction from the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts in 1998. Focused on my future career, I worked for SDSU helping to design the new website for the College of Fine Arts.
Before becoming a full-time freelance designer, I began my career as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator working for Authentic Images creating collectible products for star athletes such as Michael Jordan, Mickey Mantle, current MLB players, as well as the most popular characters from, Disney, Star Wars, Warner Bros. and many others. After two years of developing a strong understanding of all aspects of the print and product design process, I then moved on to work for KFMB Stations (San Diego CBS 8, 100.7 FM and 760 KFMB AM) as a Senior Designer for the Website Department. At KFMB I was able to work on projects from concept through completion. I gained substantial knowledge of website design / production as well as working directly with clients and collaborating among team members. There I realized how much I really enjoyed both the project and the process.
I then took a leap of faith and pursued full-time my own freelance design company, Eiffel Graphics. It has now been eight exciting years. The decision could not have been a better fit for both myself and my family. I love every moment of my day!
